AxB Architecture Studio is an extension of the firm Jay Chiu Architects & Associates. For many years Jay had been seeking a middle ground between the rationality of modernist and the sentiments originating from the vernacular landscape of Taiwan. This consciousness appears like a pendulum in a clock swinging back and forth. Today, this motion has gained enough momentum to challenge the status quo of Taiwan’s architectural landscape.
